Condolences to Afghanistan people

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences to people of Afghanistan and President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in connection with numerous victims as a result of the terrorist act committed in Mawaud training center of the city of Kabul. The Head of the state expressed sympathy and support to families and relatives of victims, as well as wished speedy recovery to the injured.



Uzbekistan athletes will participate in the Asian Games

The sports delegation of Uzbekistan will participate with 230 athletes in almost 30 sports in the Asian Games. In addition, over 100 officials (trainers, doctors, managers, media workers) will actively work during the games that take place in Jakarta.

According to the results of January-July of 2018, Uzbekistan’s foreign trade turnover made up US$17.8 billion and increased by 24.2% compared to the same period of the previous year.
