International Class Resort to Emerge in Uzbekistan

The first international ski resort in Uzbekistan is expected to start operation in December. The newly built spa Amirsoy is designed to provide relaxation for four seasons and will be the first mountain resort in Uzbekistan to meet international quality and safety requirements.

The ski resort, located in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region and occupying an area of ​​900 hectares, will begin its activity this December. Its infrastructure is multifunctional and has absorbed a hotel, restaurant, comfortable rest places, concert and exhibition halls.

The total cost of the project is more than 100 million euros. It provides for the construction of seven sets of cable cars, a snowboard park, a sports school and other facilities of the resort infrastructure. At the first stage, two cableways with a length of more than three kilometers, 13 trails of varying complexity, the total length of which is 12.3 kilometers, will be built.

It is also planned to build two artificial lakes, a helicopter pad, an artificial snow making system, winter tubing, a town consisting of 21 buildings, two restaurants, an instructor’s school, a ski rental center and other engineering and communication facilities.

The construction of the resort and its equipment are carried out jointly with such world leaders in the field of ropeway construction, production of snow compressors, snow generators and other services as Doppelmayer, PistenBully, TechnoAlpin, The Chalet and others.
